About Marley
Marley began trading in 1926, almost 100 years ago. They are now one of few that offer a complete pitched roofing system. This includes Clay or Concrete tiles, shingles and all accessories. Concrete tiles especially were in short supply back then. This was the case for most things in post World War I Britain. Marley began making their own tiles and became one of the pioneers in the industry. The are now the leading manufacturer of roofing systems in the UK.
Marley Modern Interlocking Tile
The modern interlocking tile comes with a single lap and Slate finish. These best selling tiles are suitable for roof pitches as low as 17.5°. This will depend on which type you buy as some need a steeper pitch. The modern tiles are available in 6 colours which include Old English Dark Red and Smooth Grey. The other colour options are Antique Brown, Mosborough Red, Smooth Brown and Anthracite.
Marley’s Edgemere Concrete Roof Tiles
The Edgemere tiles come with a Slate effect finish and a leading edge of only 18mm. This is 40% thinner than most standard Concrete tiles. Marley recommends upgrading to Edgemere from their modern tiles. These tiles come in Anthracite, Old English Dark Red, Smooth Brown and Smooth Grey colours. They are suitable for pitches of 17.5° with a covering capacity of 9.7 tiles per m².

Mendip Interlocking Concrete Roof Tiles
The popular Mendip tile is the ideal solution for smaller roof pitches as low as 15°. This is another tile with a good cover capacity of 9.7 tiles /m². These tiles are also available in Smooth Grey, Anthracite and Mosborough Red. Other colour finishes include Old English Dark Red and Smooth Brown.
Wessex Interlocking Roof Tile
Another low pitch solution for roof pitches as low as 15°. You can buy these tiles with a Smooth Brown or Smooth Grey finish.

Marley Plain Clay Roof Tiles With Prices
Below are some of the common Clay tile types by Marley. These include Double Roman, Ashdowne, Double Camber and Single Camber.
Acme Double Camber Plain Clay Roof Tiles
A unique double camber tile which will leave a traditional look to your roof. These tiles come in 7 colours which accentuates the light and shade of your roof surface each day. You will need 60 tiles/m² with a min pitch size of 35°. Colours available include Antique, Burnt Flame, Classic Red, Dark Brindle and Natural Orange. The remaining two colours are Purple Blend and Smooth Brindle.
Ashdowne Handcrafted Clay Plain Tiles
These tiles are granular in texture which leave a unique and traditional finish. They come in Ashurst and Aylesham Mix colours which are suitable for pitches of at least 35º.
Marley Melodie Interlocking Clay Pantiles
Marley’s Melodie single pantile tiles only requires a pitch of 12.5º and are suitable for use on pitches up to 70º. These interlocking tiles come in Natural Red and Slate Grey colours. You will need 13.8 tiles/m².
Maxima Clay Double Roman Roof Tiles
